Could a damaged, half operational Star Forge be the real method that Palpatine used to construct his massive fleet of ships, or was that just JJ being JJ?

Could it be that thrawn was sent to the star forge’s location at the end of rebels where he somehow found the starforge and reactivated it to start building star destroyers for palpatines fleet in the Rise of Skywalker. It would all link up together but would Disney go that far into fan service.

It is some kind of clamp for holding ships or equipment. The fourth prong is hidden and no part of it looks like a sphere. I see no Star Forge, but that era of the Star Wars Galaxy would be interesting to see stories told in via a live action series.

I want to see a video on what would have happened if Obi-Wan had actually killed Maul on Naboo. Had he not lived, how much would it have changed the events of the Clone Wars and thereafter?

The Star Forge is the only way they could possibly explain how Palpatine was able to amass such an insanely enormous fleet of Star Destroyers all with planet destroying weapons – it was the first thing I thought when I saw the fleet in episode 9 and the fact they never explained how it got there is one of the many things I hate about it. I accept that they aren't going to retcon the sequels, but if they're going to keep them as part of the canon they have to at least explain how things like this happened. They've made a good start showing the remnants of the Empire and the New Republic struggling to keep things under control, and the hints at them trying to create force sensitive clones, but they need to keep it up and there are a lot of boxes to tick to really make it make sense, especially with Episode 9.

Before Rise of Skywalker had come out I theorized that Palpatine was using the Star Forge to build his massive army of Star Destroyers in the Unknown Regions. I thought with the inclusion of Revan being hinted at as canon in some form with his name being included the The Art of Star Wars book that came out before the film that they were "planting seeds" for the fans to pick up on before the movie came out. Obviously I was wrong.

KOTOR's lore is one of the best things that happened to Star Wars in decades. Disney has to make it canon NOW.

Dude I love your content but that's a hanger crane

Theodore Bear
Theodore Bear

Well that is stupid supposition. It is FAR more likely that it is supposed to be a part of the landing bay's maintenance facilities. Probably a crane arm or lifting apparatus to lift ships and/or parts up and either out of the way, to another ship, or to a cart/platform so they can be taken to a maintenance shop.

Nope. Definitely not, hate to burst the bubble but they wouldn't throw something so significant into the background of a major TV series

Alex Sven
Alex Sven

It would be kind of cool, if they developed this idea. It can also explain a lot, and it will close some holes in the plot. Imagine this: The First Order never actually built the Starkiller Base in the first place, they simply found a derelict Rakata superweapon using their star maps, then just repaired it, but they deny that for propaganda purposes.
