Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy’s Developers Are Bringing Old-School Final Fantasy Back
At the most recent Nintendo Direct, we were introduced to not just a trailer, but also a demo for Project Triangle Strategy, the latest game in the HD-2D series from the developers of Octopath Traveller. That game won’t release until 2022, but it’s worth taking a look back on how this style was developed to begin with, and how this team is keeping classic Final Fantasy games alive.
