Biden will sell whatever lies he needs to. Proof of origins of rule of thumb. You brits that conquered us in Canada, imposed the inch and feet system on french people. We still use it. And the word we use for an inch is a thumb in french.

I cannot believe someone would inform to the FBI on their parents, let alone anyone in their family. I'm sorry, my family comes first before the government. I don't care who they murdered. I'm on my family's side. I don't have to condone or help them do those things, but I'm certainly not going to take the side of someone that I don't know and trust less than my family.

Notice that in a single sentence Biden referred to women as "it" (a thing) and "zambezia or Zambia, something like that" cause he's still thinking about that "racial jungle" hes so afraid of.

1:12:03 Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn had the answer. Just listen to Peterson describe it, or read the Gulag Archipelago. It's… not an easy thing to accomplish. It involves a lot of pain, hunger, and misery, but people can finally deprogram themselves, if they get near death.

7:50 everything he is quoted as having said is 110% true. I assume it is what was said based on the fact that it expresses an obvious truth that the vast majority of Trump supporters agree with whole-heatedly. It's true that the politicians, commentators and other "leaders" of the right constantly talked about the hopeless state of the country and the need for an extreme reaction, but then immediately denounced the very same response they'd be relentlessly pushing for. That's just a fact.

How stupid or willfully ignorant do you have to be to care whether Trump runs in 2024 or whether anyone runs in any US election for that matter?

The result of the 2020 presidential election, as well as, the Georgia runoff election that quickly followed was to ensure that everyone understood that any vote cast against the establishment (led by the democrats) would no longer count. The message couldn't possibly have been any clearer. Voting to save the US and the freedom of its citizens is no longer an option… CLEARLY.

Since patriotic Americans can no longer vote to protect their country and their freedom or voice their opinions in the public square, what are we supposed to do?

Hi Sargon. You asked during the episode how you make money on a declining stock, and the co-host glossed over the answer. The process is more complicated than making money on a rising stock, but the process isn't ridiculously complicated. The process is pretty much the way that you might invent to make money on a stock if you were given the task.

Obviously, making money on an appreciating stock is easy. You buy the stock, wait for the value to increase, and sell it to capture the capital gains.

How do you make money when the stock is falling in value? If you don't own the stock, you want to capture the existing value before the price falls. You accomplish the goal by signing a contract with the owner of some shares: you agree to borrow the shares from a person and return the shares after some fixed period and pay a small amount of interest. You take the borrowed shares and sell them at current prices. When the term of the loan of the shares expires, since shares are fungible, you buy replacement shares on the open market and transfer ownership to the person from whom you borrowed the stock. If the price fell, you will have captured the difference in value in the stock from the beginning of the contract to the close of the contract (less the interest), but if the value of the stock rises, you will have to front the money to buy shares at a higher price to conclude the contract. As you can see, the potential losses in direct trading are capped at the amount invested in the stock: if the company collapses, you lose the value spent on the stocks. In short-selling, because you commit to buying shares on the open market in the future and because your losses grow with rising stock prices, as your co-host correctly observed, there is no limit to your losses.

The process sounds vaguely suspicious, but economists consider the process, short-selling, to be an important part of price discovery and the fair pricing of assets and insist that short-selling should be allowed to occur without restriction on any aspect other than leveraging.

Separating the art from the artist is only hard when your suffering from self imposed derangement.
My family all enjoy Harry Potter alot. Including me, and I disagree with most of Rowling's politics. I dont need to give it a second thought because she writes good stories and doesn't ham fist her politics into the story.
The left seems to want these political issues ham fisted into their fictional stories sadly, giving no cares about the story suffering (and they'll ferociously defend these god awful works) so long as they get what they want forced in.

You got some religious terminology mixed up around 45 minutes in. A tithe is a donation to the church that everyone is expected tp pay all the time on general principle, like taxes. What the progressives are proposing with the alphabet donations to offset Harry Potter watching would be more like indulgences, which you buy to get let off the hook for sins you've committed, or maybe intend to commit. It's less like keeping up on you taxes and more like paying a police fine, except that in some cases you can do it in advance.

1:09:00 If activists don't "see reality," then it's clearly a matter of perception. Their ideological lenses distort everything they see. When people look at the world, they aren't seeing the world as such, they see their value system superimposed over the world. You can fight this by presenting people with things that they cannot see clearly with their ideological lenses. Try to spark cognitive dissonance.
