Too bad he isn't still the COO. Paypal has banned several non-leftist companies and people from using their system. All based on what they think is social justice. It's appalling. Their employees are Millennial leftist punks. Horrible how they are hurting real people based on their bias and spite.

The woke movement started at least 5 yrs earlier, another blame Trump video. I don't even support Trump but am sick of everything wrong somehow being blamed on him. Too funny.

I really wish you would stop playing a minute of the interview in the beginning it’s annoying to watch it twice. If you want to intrigue someone I understand but do 20 seconds maybe

Great guest, but I wish Dave pushed back against 2016 as the root of leftist takeover of big tech and root of cancel culture. There was plenty of it beforehand. GamerGate, for instance, but even that was a flash-point, not an origin.

This is all wrong…the media stoked Trump during 2016…they pumped him like an inner tube….they wanted the biggest clown they could find to run against HER. Well, they didn't realize how much people hated HER. This time they learned their lesson on how to manipulate the voter box and we got the Biden…the most popular president ever. (eye roll)

Things came out into the open under Trump but I think things started changing under Obama.

Trump is the reason…he is the reason that the elites saw a huge wrench in their plans. THEY fear the populous, specifically the right wing populous because conservatives, as much as they love their country, lost complete trust in their leaders (unlike the Bernie Bros and Mini AOC's who still fawn over both who have fallen in line and are collecting their money). Even with Trump gone, the more I hear the "mean Trump" drumbeat, the more I appreciate a very flawed man.

This could be an amazing opportunity for startups. It baffles me that shareholders at Google are tolerating activist employees, who deliver little value, causing the termination of well respected senior AI researchers. As someone who works in the field we've always wondered how we could lure people away from Google. Maybe we should just say thanks and welcome those great minds cast out by fools into a productive, inclusive research environment that still values liberalism. Sacks you should be building a recruiting empire off this.

PayPal was created by guys who grew up near me in a very conservative area of southeast Texas. They’re outsiders among big tech – don’t kid yourself – when you’re raised here, it’s part of you.

He's wrong. It's been happening since much before 2016. I started seeing it happen around the time Anita Sarkeesian started being a thing. She would put out one of her overpriced, under researched based trope videos, people would make response videos to it pointing out all the stuff she got wrong and/or was blatantly lying about/misrepresenting, and she would get on twitter (and in front of the UN) to whine about how people are bullying her. That was the start of the weaponized DMCA/false flagging, but I do remember Youtube, Twitter and all of them weren't even handed when applying their rules. It didn't happen as often as it does now, but there was clear bias in their application.

MSM attacked Trump before he was elected. The quickness, force, and coordination of their attacks immediately after the election demonstrates some significant pre-planing. Looking back, they powers on the Left were not going to allow the will of the people to determine an election again.

Ugh, the ELITE Stanford students! I work in high tech in Silicon Valley and this all started during the Obama years. The employees at these companies are far left. For the people coming out of college these are their first jobs and the expectations are crazy. They make 6 figures but act like starving students any time there is free food and then want it to be organic, gluten/sugar free. There is no room for diversity of thought and a ridiculous amount of virtue signaling. And the upper management people bow down to them.

Every cpuntry will develop their own platforms and S Valley will wonder how it all went wrong for them. Russia will soon ban Twitter( for not cancelling/banning pro pedophile comments,or people who encourage others to commit suicide etc etc,) YET they cancel/ ban other speech which is totally mild. Mark my words: This is the beginning of the end for these wokesters.
