Thanks for the roundup, skill up! I’m getting a terrifying kidney surgery with someone opening my stomach but I can always rely on you to criticize the monopolies in the game industry all the while making some laughs for the viewers.

Sports games will forever be trash. I remember buying the Big Hurt and that shit would overheat my MegaDrive. Good times. Home run derby all day.

Nintendo is dead to me won't be buying their games no more.

Actually Nintendo’s excuse for not making anymore 3D all. Stars made perfect sense.they literally said when they release these older titles on the switch that sales massively drop off and virtually reduce to nothing. Now taking it off the digital store makes no sense though. I get why they’d stop making the physical copies. I mean there’s still physical copies available at stores a week after they stopped. Even after the buying spike. So I get stopping the physical sales. If you’re continuing to make a bunch of physical games and they don’t sale it is ignorant to continue to print them.

I don't usually agree with China arresting and fucking people up, but… in this case I can really get behind them. Fuck hackers.

Sony's MLB The Show included day 1 on Gamepass or $70 for Playstation. Phil is a madman.

I really don't give a s*** about any game that isn't due for release within the next month. Why don't Ford just spend thousand of dollars advertising their hydrogen powered flying cars that are due for release in 2116? Only in the videogame world are fanboi's dumb enough to get hyped over things they can't buy for years. Maybe that's why publishers advertise games that are months or years away? I immediately look at the release date and switch-off if I can't buy it imminently. Got better things to think about in there here and now.

I wouldn't say that Xbox's plans for backwards compat were "coincidental" rather than planned considering they started thier backwards compat program back in 2013 I believe…
While Sony's announcement of online store closures for older platforms is only happening right now, Sony has never really invested in a backwards compat program to the extent that Xbox has.

I feel this was merely one company recognizing a area a competitor was lacking in and took advantage.

But definitely not "coincidental" as it's been apart of Xbox's overall plan for many years…
