Just want to say that every so often, small black lines appear on screen. This is my capture card. My brand new card broke this week after one video so I needed to use my back up card which, apparently, has decided to stop working properly too. Absolute technical nightmares on the channel recently for both of us. Apologies, hopefully the gremlins/ghosts in the machines will bugger off soon. Glen

Not for me, but the card gameplay seems really fresh!

Boys what’s going on I can’t keep up you’re too fast with these videos, I brought re reckoning today because you told me to and now you hit me with another video, you are either going to have to send me a free game or I’m going to have to sell my body to build my back log 🤣🤣🤣

There's a small and pleasant (also free) mobile game called "Miracle Merchant". It's about brewing magic potions through combining ingredient cards. Great art style and lovely music.

I'm not sponsored to say that. I just really like it, and it has a similar gameplay to this.

Actually like it. Also I agree it's too expensive. I'll wait for a sale and leave it on my wishlist

Colorful visuals? Social Sim? Deck building? A CAT? Definitely picking this up, seems like the perfect time killer.

Sounds interesting, but whether I'd have time to learn the mechanic properly is another story. Too many 100 hour games in backlog. (I need to start avoiding Ubisoft and JRPG's). Sojourn -to live somewhere temporarily, as on a visit; stay for a while, had to double check the definition of that so made me think already.

Nice to see an unusual game reviewed, would make an excellent board game that I'd definitely play. Probably right about the price, is a bit punchy.

The gamplay mechanics seem fresh but the art direction feels like something that belongs on a children's show.

I played this on PC and I thought the card game mechanic was pretty neat. The dialogue is really well written but it may get a little frustrating with the limitations you get with from deck and the exhaustion cards.
A little bit pricey IMO, maybe I'll wait for a sale and give it another go on the Switch

Oof… a bit harsh on the price rating, mate. This is a game that's been nominated for multiple GOTY awards, and has incredibly high ratings elsewhere already. If they were asking upwards of $30, I could definitely see docking them on the price, but $20 feels more than fair. It definitely didn't deserve a mere 12/20 price score… ouch!

Regardless, this is a game I've been looking forward to for months now, and am literally counting down the days until release. I usually agree with your reviews, but this time… yeah… gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Glad you enjoyed your time with the game nonetheless.

Looks really promising! I'm currently caught up in Littlewood, so I've added this one to the wishlist for now.

I admit, I don’t usually go for deck building games but this seems like a really interesting take on the genre. I might just have to pick it up when it’s on sale sometime. Thanks for the review.

It looks fun but I reckon if I want a deck building game I’ll pick up slay the spire first

This game was talked up quite a bit on Waypoint Radio last year. I'm glad it's finally on the Switch.

Looks cool.
But card games are not my cup of tea.
But out of all the card games I have seen, this looks pretty cool.

I was not a fan of card games but slay the spire has changed my perspective.

This is certainly a unique one, it's just a little too unique for my taste.

This seems really neat, though for some reason I would love to see a “malicious” sequel where you try and con people with the mechanics or something.

I don’t really see why the visual are said to be great. Everything looks like it’s been a scribble, done as fast as possible – somehow almost cheap. And the price is definitely set way too high for that

Not for me, needs a lower price.. but hey, it's unique.

Seems like it has really interesting mechanics for a deck-builder! Good little indie to pick up in a future sale!

I love card games, but I dislike the theme and art style of Signs of the Sojourner. It just has this prententious hipster feeling that I find very off-putting. Looks like I'm not alone in this, as there are barely any reviews on Steam and GoG.

Will you be covering Battle Brothers? I hear compared to the PC version the Switch controls need serious improvement. For the price the Devs are charging for this older title and it's DLC I hope they don't ignore fan feedback (someone already complained about the controls on the official forums)

Played this last year when it was in the itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality. Unique game but it didn't really grab me the few hours I put into it. I personally found the art style off-putting but played it because it sounded interesting and it was getting hidden gem status, so this is a pass for me (even before the price factor)

I got the game today because I really liked the Steam demo and it has a launch discount. I was impressed, how good the game's music is.
