Im glad I got to play this beta the ammount of fun i had playing with friends offline and people online was amazing (that rollback netcode deserves all the praises it gets). This is gonna be the fighting game I'm going to play the most outta 2021 for sure

I'm in Nigeria and I played USA and Europe (Europe is closer tho)
And it was smoooooth

I accidentally ran into Leffen's RAMLETHAL, it was a swift death🙂

I played Japan but the rollback was intense, like 7+ frames rollback(I get hit without seeing the move at all🤣) but that was one match though

My big question is whether or not Strive is better than Xrd

I missed the Gatling system a lot. It helps newer players a lot. Just like FighterZ, it was helpful for a lot of people.

The GG's devs want new players to join in…but remove the tool to help? That makes no sense to me. Plus you said

FighterZ optimal starter the same thing applies to Guilty Gear. The Jab van net you a punish but the damage is not great. Especially depending on the character.

This game's damage is huge but scaling can be picky at times. Why not add back Gatling but make sure Jab starters are scaled enough to let players know you could have gotten more if you just did the optimal starter.

Idk just spitballing

They better work on their online more. Yes it was good. But they better not have that problem they had when DBFZ came out. No one could play online

Also about the quick match:
You are still in the lobbies, your character is just holding his sword waiting for someone to challenge you that's why you got that same Giovanna mirror match 5 times, he kept seeing you and challenging

To identify people in the lobbies that have entered quick match, you will see a red dumbbell logo by their name when you come close to them and are always in the ready stance,

It's not really a work around, but I think there some instances when you don't get challenged for a long time someone else in the same lobby as you that is either in training or not, as long as they are in Thier ready stance they can match up with you, but that barely happens when people can just walk up to you easily

So if that's Thier alternative the lobby is gonna stay that way

Also:
When you enter quick match from the menus you automatically enter the ranked tower lobbies.
But if you go to the open park lobbies(casual lobbies), you can standby in training mode from the menu that pops up when you press options and that's the only way to enter "standby in training mode" for a casual lobby which I hope they change

I love your videos man

Ok here are three things I must point out. Lengthy ones but very important and legit:
1) 07:19 – That's not a netcode quality issue, this is just region locking. If MK11 kicks you out just because of the distance between you and your opponent, that doesn't mean the netcode isn't good while it functions, it's just built-in limitations. MKX on PS4 also was region-locked, as you couldn't play matches between EU and the US, but NRS/WB opened their games to be more free-region for IJ2 and MK11. NRS/WB games don't have big scenes in Asia anyway, and Mortal Kombat is banned anyway in several parts of the world. So once again, this has absolutely nothing to do with MK11's netcode. So the fact that GGST can give you matches between EU and Asia or Australia doesn't make it's netcode better then MK11's.

2) Also your complaints on the wall break in GGST don't make sense. If the break on the wall is distant-depened, then that doesn't make it inconsistent. If you would've try to break the wall several times from the exact same range and it would give you a different results, only then it would've been inconsistent, but that's not the case here. This is actually one of the good things that GGST has done, that it actually makes you aware of the range between the start of the combo and the wall. That gives you the element of stage awareness which an excellent thing in fighting games. It's not the game being inconsistent, that is you.

3) Also you should know that getting opponents through Quick Match doesn't make you skip the lobbies. Sajam talked about this in one of his latest videos. He discovered that while you wait via quick matches, you're actually being put in a recommended lobby and wait for other players to come and challenge you while you're standing in the lobby without moving. That means that it's not the game choosing the opponents for you, it's the opponents coming to you. And that means you can't rely on Quick Match too much, otherwise you won't have that many opponents to face, especially if too many people also use Quick Match, because they won't be paired with many opponents at all because they will all essentially wait for others to come to them. That is also why you got to face that Giovanna player 5 times in a row, because you were standing still in the lobby without moving and that Giovanna player came to you through the lobby 5 times in a row. Here's a link to Sajam's video talking about this, you have to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQlQW4Oi3Sg&t=84s

Hey Globku, I was wondering what your opinion is on the similarities between previous games like Xrd and AC. Like, I heard it was going to be changed so a new group of players could find the game accessable but the way you explained it and what I've seen make it look pretty much the same and still rad as hell.

Granted I've been playing since the gba GGAC and was never great at GG through the years so everything better players like you do always looks complicated to me lol.

You got the same Gio over and over because they chose to keep rematching with you in the lobby.
