Gaming Records That Will Never Be Broken
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X era has arrived and it will likely bring a whole new era of speedruns, record-breaking and fierce competition. When the new genre-defining games drop for the next generation we’ll have all kinds of new streamers showing record-breaking skills that score millions of hits. Right now due to both the pandemic delaying certain titles and a low volume of launch games, the next generation is basically the last generation. One day we will get to formally induct this era into gaming history with a new amazing title but not today. Until that glorious day officially arrives though, we can look back at some of the biggest achievements and gaming that are unlikely to ever be beaten.
Some of these range from the speed-runs we all know and love. Insane feats of Mario leaps and Sonic sprints that prove without a doubt that gaming can be a very athletic activity. Not to mention the challenges that are so insane that they literally break the game itself. The Pac-Man screen kill is one that few gamers will ever have the skills to see. Then there are the epic fields of battle. The fighting games, battle royales and first person shooters that separate the weak from the so insanely good that you’ll be lucky to survive for a full minute. Then there are the ridiculous no one else would think of.
So let’s jump right into the gaming records that will probably never be beaten!
