You guys said exactly what I was thinking with the video, that Walt himself would be ashamed of how the company is now and what it stands for. I guess the magic has been gone for a while now and we didn't know it.

They are now suffering the fruit they planted themselves by supporting the dictatorship of Democrat Party Socialist policy. These big giant corporations think they can benefit from the authoritarian rule & stop competition; however, they don't understand they are also replaceable money making machine for the Dems and Dems will betray them the moment they find a bigger fish to fry.

Wonder if these UNION workers, are going to change their social political views??
Because most unionist vote socialist. Then get shocked when the cheaper H1B1 and illegal immigrants are doing their jobs..

In japan they practice "Corporate Feudalism".
Meaning that the employees are expected to remain loyal to their employer for life and accepting of what ever wages they are given, in exchange for the company keeping them on through the downturns. Sounds great till you learn they aren't paid much and get black listed industry wide if they break from the social contract…

A public traded company's fiduciary duty is too its shareholders. Throwing employees overboard is part of exercising that duty. Most company's are making these agonizing decisions. It might be short sighted, but Disney stands a better chance of coming back from customer bad will than other amusement parks. A lot of investment decisions they are describing are pre-Covid.

They have to get back to family. This millennial, woke, broken agenda is killing the company. Honestly, it will get worse. Until family matters again Disney is dead. Remember why Walt created the parks…..family.

Disney execs still have their hands out for gubment cash. Trump should slap their hands away and let Disney fail completely.

It's unfortunate for those losing their jobs at Disney . But not a Single person is going to forgo a trip to Disney over this . When most think of Disney it has nothing to do with Live Shows . So it's doubtful that these performers will be brought back anytime soon . And if no one seems to care that their gone ? They will never be brought back . That means even more money for the Disney Execs to split .

Humm this disney disaster is far worse then they faced in the past, even with movies being low, the parks gave disney lots of money. Now no movies,no park, only disney plus and that is not working to well.
For better or worse i always belived disney was to big to fall. But now im thinking this perfect storm might be the thing to put Disney on its knees

I don't see you guys as Disney haters. Actually you remind me of how gamers feel about what has happened with Blizzard Entrainment. Banning an e-sports player because he said "free Hong Kong" or posting record sales and profit then doing a mass firing. You look at everything and just feel complete disappointment and disgust.

Idk what your expect disney to do. They are losing billions so yeah jobs will be lost. Guess what, you seem smart enough to know every company that is losing buckets of money are doing the same. This channel is becoming a 1 trick pony.

Disney World has been slowly pricing out the shrinking middle class from their target market. $100 for a single resident ticket, not to mention parking and the inflated prices you'll see on everything you purchase while at the park. The experience is simply not worth it unless you have a massive discretionary budget.
