Even my local news brought this up and mentioned it's hardy price.

While I don’t agree with the pricing, we do live in a capitalist society where someone can sell something for however much they want to. Tickets alone are insanely overpriced but it doesn’t stop people from buying them.

"$6000.00, for that much we can almost buy our own ship!" Someone that no longer matters to the story.

oh come on, why are people getting mad at this?
there are many things in life you will never be able to afford.

there's nothing wrong with making a luxury product for a rich demographic.

are you people going to get up in arms about mercedes making 200k cars now too?

"OH NO I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD A BUGATTI. I'M MAD NOW!"
…… what is with you people?….

Didn't Galaxy's Edge bomb when it opened? Has it still been a dumpster fire? Disney is making some real genius decisions!!!!

It would take my family at least 2 or 3 YEARS to afford a flight just for a 2 week trip to see my grandmother in New York.
The average family in the US is NEVER going to afford a $6000 trip! Especially for just 2 nights! That's insane!
The average family has a better chance of touring all 50 states + territories than go on this Disney disaster!

Even rich people won't go. Rich people like normal people like saving money. It's mainly rich people who create jobs anyway.

Devil's advocate: That price isn't as unreasonable as people think it is for a family of 4; especially if its as inclusive as people seem to be suspecting. I'm not necessarily defending Disney; but I think the average person's perspective on price inflation and income has stagnated and inaccurate. Essentially stuck a decade or so behind reality. And that's not an insult; it's something that happens naturally as you age and time progresses. I say this as someone who make's 38k a year BTW. People like us forget that the demo Disney is aiming for are FAMILY UNITS who's combined incomes are $160,000+ a year IF NOT MORE because that is what upper middle class is now guys. The reason this seems so odd to us is because the upper middle class used to be much larger in say the 1980's,1990's and early 2000's and we either don't remember it accurately OR were children at the time and did not understand it. $6000 is not as crazy as it sounds; most of us are just confused and poor.

Actually, for $6K, I should be able to get drunk with Darth Vader, Han Solo, Qui-Gon, Luke Skywalker, Grogu, Ahsoka, and Cara Dune. Now THAT would be a two-day bender. Heck – at that price, Captain Kirk and Mr.Spock, and the entire crew of The Orville, ought to be there, too.

Long long ago… in a galaxy far far away…

…the Star Wars Brand was so insanely profitable that they might just have gotten away with this ridiculous rip off.

Oh well, too bad, so sad Disney.

2 big problems outside of pricing 1 Disney can not control the guest and it only takes one person not playing along to ruin it for everyone and 2 not everyone can be special so most people won’t be the hero or the princess or the special one so why go when your just going to hang out and watch other people live there dreams no everyone can play the Jedi I’m sorry

disney is actively ruining their franchises by moving away from source material and destroying beloved characters and driving customers away
while universal is giving people what they want, i can't wait to see disney burn

Can see this becoming a flex test for middle class families in the same way they buy cars and boats they can't afford to seem more wealthy than they are.

Just drop the Price to $1,500.00 a Night . That way average Americans who love Disney will be able to afford it .

Disney needs to double or triple the prices and keep the riff-raff out of the hotels.

Like many people I grew up with Disney movies but even as a kid my parents told me how greedy the Disney company was, I remember when I was 8 how my dad explained the "Disney Vault" during the years of VHS and later DVD and even now on Blu Ray.

Instead of keeping their movies in distribution at all times, Disney had those limited runs of their animated classics, they'd only be available for a short time and usually at two or three times the price of any other movie because Disney would literally say available for a limited time before it goes back in the "Disney Vault"

Not shocked at theme park prices, not surprised Disney Products cost double or triple what fair market value is, and heck I still like the old Disney movies, but I am surprised their are enough people who can spend money on their products like this.

If it was based on the original or even the prequels it might be a little better received (but not by much if it still had that price tag tho).
