The fact they GAVE UP and let the trucks just get away despite the fact they could of kept tracking them…..that was kind of stupid.

The cops racial profiling was just unnecessary. We watch these shows for escapism… Leave the political commentary out, it's a comic book show for cripes sake.

Super Soldiers are not supposed to be bulletproof in the comics, to my knowledge Steve Rogers is killed by a gun shot the comics. Great review guys! Can't wait for next week's episode.

Cap wasn’t bulletproof. They said the other villain name so I’m guessing flag smasher let him inject the serum in them then just abandon his plan and started their own group. Bucky is apart of the greatest generation been through hell and back. He would destroy this new cap. He did technically beat Steve.

Will the series end with BUCKY as the new cap? I can see it…. Walker gets snuffed, and Buck is the one who picks up the shield. Sam tells him he needs to carry it to exercise his inner demons and self doubt. The Falcon and Cap can ride again!

Forewarnin: This is not a rant on how bad the show is (its not), this is merely what I wished happened to some of my favorite characters (Bucky especially)

I had watched the first episode with a large scoop of caution. I was thinking that we were gettin into this cheesy, comedy of a buddy cop show and the first episode was very surprising in that regard. Sam I beleive is done wonderfully, hes got the snark, the wit, the courage youd expect of Falcon. His family life, financial struggles are all good, its tastefully done and not just "Falcons black. Get it? Hes having these struggles cause hes black"

My problem (or rather, dissapointment), however, is with Bucky. To me, he never felt like a solid character outside of Winter Soldier, hes mostly a throwaway in Civil War, hes almost entirely useless in Avengers (not that I think he shouldn't be), but I beleived this show would be a little different.

Look, the guys been around for almost 100 years, that cant just be glossed over with some "hey, get it, hes old" I loved him hanging around with a lot more elderly folks, I love how his view of the world is clearly contrasted by the modern world (the roses, the comment about the board game, etc. Etc. Etc.) I like seeing that in this show, but man, they gotta step up the darkness.

I dont mean he needs to be some edgelord from the early 2000's, not at all. The guys been a living death machine for 70 years (give or take) under Hydra, and yet some miracle brain-plot device from Wakanda gets rid of that? James Barnes, the Winter Soldier, should be like Jekyll and Hyde, like Jason Bourne (from the books). Yeah, he loves to stare off in the distance, but thats so tiny. He should be surveying his surroundings, not being made the butt of a joke by Sam when they infiltrated that warehouse with the Super Soldiers in it. He should be doing things without even realizing it half the time. Nearly killing people in combat, causing unnecessary damage (not reckless, just over the top get-the-job-done-right-the-first-time kinda situation)

He should be a huge information sponge, yeah the guys old but hes been an assassin up and going into the Modern age, if anything he should be the one getting most of the info, and not just because he "knows a guy" (Nothin wrong with Isiah just fyi)

Jeez, and his past. I feel its just barely scratched here, the scene with Sam and Bucky had me almost in tears because I can relate to Bucky, having your self-worth tied to people you look up to because you see them as morale beacons with which you can maybe one day crawl out of the evil pit you find yourself in, and how long does that emotional bit last? All but 30 seconds. Sam seems to just ignore it (and yeah, it seems intentional, but the therapist? Seriously? Bucky just revealed a chink of the armor and you dont jump at the bit to help expand that?) Like I said, the guys a living death dealer, the baggage from that, especially when its done blatantly for nefarious and horrible reasons, should be a huge weight on him.

Lastly, cause Im pretty sure Ive lost most of my train of thought writing this, the fight scenes. Its a small gripe I know, but for 70+ YEARS of killing youd think hed be better in a fight. Wheres your rifle? Wheres the 100000+ knives you got somewhere? You clearly know how to use em, you think punching dudes is gonna hurt any less? Wheres the dude who can single-handedly match Captain fuckin America, but ends up getting tossed around by (though strong, not stronger than Bucky) untrained "civillians" (cause thats what they feel like) or "rebels"

I dunno… Maybe its just me, but I wanted much more out of Bucky, and it doesnt feel like its gonna happen.

I disagree with the police scene. It's almost like every time a white person shows up with some modicum of power, they have to be seemingly racist to falcon for no reason. It wasn't in the marvel movies and it doesn't need to be here.
