Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine will triumph over “evil” in an emotional speech to mark victory over the Nazis in the Second World War.
In an address on Victory in Europe Day, he said that the life that soldiers fought for in that war came to an end on 24 February when Russian forces invaded
“The evil has returned – again,” Mr Zelensky said. “In a different form, under different slogans, but for the same purpose.”
